Best Affordable Paintball Guns Under 100 Dollars

Getting into paintball can be an expensive hobby. Unfortunately, if you want to participate in the sport properly there is no way around spending some money to acquire good equipment. But keep in mind that only expensive doesn’t always mean better.

Over several years players have proven countless times that there are bargains to be had when it comes to equipment. And good news for all of us looking to get into the sport on a budget; paintball guns don’t have to break the bank anymore.

Manufacturers of entry and intermediate level gear like Azodin, Bob Long, BT, and Smart Parts offer great products with the decent build quality at very affordable prices. These four companies in particular excel at offering products that are very capable of competing on the same playing field as their more expensive counterparts.

One thing to keep in mind is that almost all paintball guns, no matter how cheap they are, will shoot just fine right out of the box. The majority of them won’t need modifications or upgrades at all.

Why Should You Buy a Budget Paintball Gun Rather Than an Expensive One?

It is a common assumption that budget paintball guns are cheap, bad, and not worth your attention. That is not true! If you want to buy a good gun on a budget, yes, there will be some compromises that you have to make but they aren’t going to break the bank.

Most manufacturers of more expensive equipment offer their lower end models at lower price points as well. The only difference is that you will get slightly less quality of materials or more plain design but it’s all relative and not worth thinking about really.

Inexpensive paintball guns are more than capable of competing on the same playing field as their expensive counterparts. So you can get a great deal by saving some money right away.

What To Look For When Buying a Paintball Gun Under 100$ Budget?

So far we’ve talked about what you can expect to get when buying a budget paintball gun and I think the time has come to give some pointers on what you should look for when shopping.

The first thing to consider is how much money you’re planning to spend on this hobby. If it’s just $100 then your choice will be rather limited as you don’t want to spend all of your budgets on a paintball gun.

However, if it is something you plan to do for some time then consider buying a good marker that will last and maybe also buy other necessary equipment like a paintball mask and other things along the way.

As I said before, almost every entry and mid level paintball gun will shoot just fine right out of the box. The majority don’t need any modifications or upgrades at all, so you have to decide what features are the most important for you and what should be included in your budget.

At this price point, a good option is an electric marker with a standard hopper and a tank which means that you can also buy upgraded parts along the way to speed up your gun or make it more efficient.

Other features that are not absolutely necessary but might come in handy; are barrel threading (if you want to add a barrel extension later), internal gas line (makes maintaining your marker easier), and vibration dampeners (lowers sound signature).

So, now you know what to look for. If your budget is $100 or less then there is a lot of fun waiting for you on the paintball field!

Conclusion

Budget paintball guns are plenty of fun to own, shoot and use. Just keep in mind that you won’t be buying a top of the line marker for under 100 dollars so don’t expect it to be perfect straight out of the box. All things equal, entry level equipment is not as reliable or durable as higher end models but will still get the job done.

Remember that there are tons of different paintball guns available in this price range, some better than others so do your research before making a purchase.

All in all, when you buy entry or mid level gear it will save you some money without sacrificing quality and performance significantly. These markers are excellent for beginners, recreational players, and for those that don’t want to spend top dollar on paintball.
